Is Home Alone just harmless family fun, or are the manipulators of public perception perhaps using the most appealing and popular entertainment vehicles as a means to subconsciously push ideas, behaviours and long-term agendas? I started this episode on a whim and wasn’t expecting to find half of what I discovered in the process. Where better to insert ritual programming, than in a film which has gone on to become – even 35 years later – an annual Christmas ritual of its own?
